EK type is a U-shaped seal and the metal skeleton vulcanization bonding integral pneumatic piston. It has two functions: sealing and guide.

Applications

EK integral piston, can be used with or without a buffer end single-acting cylinders, avoid bending for long travels and working conditions, so as not to put too much sideways load.

Material

Standard material is a Shore 71A of nitrile rubber and vulcanization bonding with metal skeleton. When the bore is greater than 100mm, it is recommended as the material hardness of Shore 78A.

Installation

EK use pneumatic piston integral locking nut secured to the piston rod so as not to loose, for air-drying oil-free piston and cylinder lubricant should adopt appropriate long-term pre-lubricated.

Make sure the sealing lip at the stroke end there is enough space for free movement (reference dimension table "Ødm").
